It is with great sadness that the family of Judith K. Vine announces her passing Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.
Judy was born to Harold and Adeline Morrison June 7, 1946, and graduated from Granton High School in 1964.
Growing up on the family farm, she met the love of her life, Earl Vine, who was the farm’s milk hauler, and they were married Aug. 22, 1964. During their 60 years of marriage, they had four children, Cathy Vine (Kevin Winkler), Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Kevin (Naomi) Vine, Evansville, WI, Brian (Jenny) Vine, Neillsville, WI, and Aaron (Angela) Vine, Granton, WI.
While raising four children, Judy and Earl operated the family farm together. During this time, they discovered their love for square-dancing, and Judy decided to open a square dance apparel shop and operated it out of the family home, sewing and designing many women’s and men’s outfits. Traveling all over the state to attend dance conventions not only to dance to their favorite callers, but also to display and sell her clothing.
After raising her children, she sold the square dance apparel shop and obtained her CNA license. She worked at Neillsville Memorial Home for three years and 12 years at Norwood Healthcare Center.
After retiring from the health care field, Judy and Earl enjoyed taking trips throughout the United States. Her most favorite destinations were Branson, MO, and Alaska.
She was also a member of the Master Gardeners’ Club, and anyone who knew her, saw her love for flower gardening. She always enjoyed people stopping over just to admire her flower beds.
Judy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Earl; along with their four children. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, Nicole (Anthony), Sydney, Kendall, Samantha, McKenzie, Emma, Laura, Michael (Sara), Hunter, Tyler and Katelyn; three great-grandchildren, Trenton, Kayla and Aiden; brother Gary Morrison, Elkin, NC; sister Kris Karl, Sheboygan Falls, WI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Judy was predeceased by her parents; brother Timothy Morrison; and two nephews.
The family will be holding a celebration of life in honor of Judy Dec. 14, 2024, at the Granton Community Center from 1 to 4 p.m.
