Patricia Rose White (nee Bollom), 87, of Black River Falls, WI, passed away April 22, 2026.
She was born Feb. 2, 1939, in Neillsville to Ellsworth and Rose (Scinto) Bollom. After graduating from high school, she joined the United States Army in 1959. She served five years in the Army and was stationed in France for two years as a dental specialist.
Her work upon returning to civilian life included jobs at Neillsville Memorial Medical Center, Sunburst Youth Home in Neillsville, Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire and the Black River Falls public schools.
She married Earl White in 1983 and resided in Eau Claire for many years before moving to Black River Falls. She loved the Lord and found her church home at Bridge Church. She was a member of the American Legion Post 200. She loved cooking and baking and worked in the Forrest Street Elementary School until she was 80. She was kind, funny, generous and had many loving friends.
Preceding her in death: her husband, Earl, in March 2011; sister, Barbara Erdmann, in April 1995; father Ellsworth in January 2003; mother Rose in September 1981; brother-in-law Larry Wren in January 2000; great-niece Olivia Reigel, December 2018, and niece Amy Wren, February 2024.
Survivors include her sister, JoAnn Wren of Neillsville, five nieces, six great-nieces and one great-nephew.
A memorial service will be held at Bridge Church, 740 Alder St. Black River Falls, WI, Monday, June 1, 2026. Visitation is from 10 to 11 a.m. with service to follow.
